The Children's Place (PLCE) said Thursday in a regulatory filing that Sheamus Toal, its chief operating officer and chief financial officer, will leave the company, effective Dec. 13.
The company said "the decision to part ways was not the result of any disagreement" between it and Toal and that Toal received a separation payment of about $2.2 million.
The children's apparel retailer also said that it has named Laura Lentini chief accounting officer, effective Monday.
Shares of The Children's Place were down 5.9% in recent trading.
