Opendoor Technologies named Alphabet executive Selim Freiha as its next chief financial officer, effective Nov. 4.

The San Francisco-based e-commerce company for residential real estate deals on Tuesday also said it was appointing Shrisha Radhakrishna as chief technology and product officer.

Freiha, age 53, is joining from Alphabet, where he has served as vice president of finance, capital allocation and planning since February 2023. He joined Alphabet in 2021, and before that worked at eBay.

Freiha will receive an annual base salary of $500,000 and will participate in an annual cash incentive program, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing. In lieu of foregoing an annual bonus this year, Freiha will receive a one-time, sign-on bonus of $750,000.

He succeeds the company's interim CFO Christy Schwartz, who will resign from the position and continue as Opendoor's chief accounting officer.

Radhakrishna, will join the company from LegalZoom, where he served as chief technology and product officer. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Intuit.
