Brainhole Technology (HKG:2203) acquired 260,100 Up Fintech call options on the market for $900,000 on Friday, a filing with the Hong Kong Exchange on Monday said.

The company financed the acquisition by the group's internal resources and the call options are to be exercised before April 17, 2025, at $12.00 per call option.

On the same day, the company disposed of 8,000 Broadcom put options on the market for $800,000.

The average price of the disposal came in at $97.67 per put option.

The group plans to use the proceeds for its general working capital or any suitable investment opportunity.

The group will make a loss of $1.1 million on the disposal.

The smart home and smart city solutions builder's shares ballooned nearly 276% on Monday's close.
