LVMH (FR:MC), Rémy Cointreau (FR:RCO): China said it would impose new tariffs on brandy imports from the European Union. Shares in Rémy Cointreau fell more than 8%, while LVMH, which owns Hennessy cognac, lost about 3%.
PDD $(PDD)$, Alibaba $(BABA)$, JD $(JD)$: U.S.-listed shares of Chinese e-commerce companies tumbled premarket as China's stock-market rally showed signs of faltering. All three stocks fell at least 9%, on track to reverse part of their recent rally.
DocuSign $(DOCU)$: S&P Dow Jones Indices said late Monday that the e-signature company will replace MDU Resources Group $(MDU)$ in the S&P MidCap 400 on Friday. DocuSign's shares jumped 5% premarket; MDU's shares were little changed.
Freeport-McMoRan $(FCX)$, Alcoa $(AA)$: A selloff in commodities like copper hit shares in both miners, with each losing more than 4% premarket. Copper slid as optimism over China's stimulus measures ebbed Tuesday.
Super Micro Computer $(SMCI)$: The server maker's stock jumped 4% premarket, after surging 16% Monday. The company said Monday that it recently deployed more than 100,000 graphics processing units with liquid-cooling solution to large AI factories.
PepsiCo $(PEP)$: PepsiCo is due to report earnings before the opening bell.
