智通财经APP获悉，澳大利亚量子技术初创公司Q-Ctrl从包括洛克希德马丁(LMT.US)风投部门Lockheed Martin Ventures在内的投资者那里筹集了5900万美元，这是人们对量子技术潜在的军事应用越来越感兴趣的最新迹象。
值得一提的是，Q-Ctrl也曾得到赛富时(CRM.US)风投部门Salesforce Ventures的资金支持。Q-Ctrl开发用于抑制量子计算错误的软件。这家公司去年推出了可用于导航的量子传感器，同时还为传感器提供错误抑制软件，并授权使用激光等技术，使传感器更加精确。
Q-Ctrl首席执行官Michael Biercuk表示：“我们一直在与澳大利亚国防部合作开发解决方案。量子计算尚未证明自己优于经典计算机，但可以看到其在传感器领域的优势。”
Q-Ctrl表示，来自Lockheed Martin Ventures等投资者的这笔资金使该公司由GP bullhound主导的B轮融资规模达到1.13亿美元。这笔资金将用于帮助建立一个销售和营销团队。Michael Biercuk表示，该公司员工大约有130人，其中很大一部分是科学家和工程师。
