BUZZ-Endeavour Mining falls on Burkina Faso mining permit withdrawal fears

** London-listed shares of gold miner Endeavour Mining

fall as much as 6.6% to 1,674p, stock top pct loser on FTSE 100 index

** West African country Burkina Faso plans to withdraw mining permits from some foreign cos and will seek to produce more of its own gold, junta leader Ibrahim Traore said on Saturday

** Traore did not specify which permits would be cancelled

** Endeavour Mining, Australia-based West African Resources

, Russia's Nordgold, and Canada's Orezone Gold Corp

operate in Burkina Faso

** Endeavour also operates mines in Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Mali, and Guinea

** EDV hits lowest level since Aug. 2

** Stock currently at session low, taking YTD losses to ~5%
