ELL Environmental's (HKG:1395) subsidiaries Everbest Water Treatment and Rugao Hengfa Water Treatment agreed with Rugao Economic and Technological Development Zone Administrative Committee to expand and enhance the wastewater treatment Rugao Hengfa Facility, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

According to agreement, the existing facility will be expanded to increase its industrial wastewater treatment capacity by 10,000 tons per day, reaching 50,000 tons a day, and afterward upgrade all effluents to standard C as per the local regulator's standards.

Everbest Water Treatment will provide the investment for the project while Rugao Hengfa Water Treatment will take up the expansion and enhancement project. The environmental solution service provider plans to fund the investment with its internal resources and bank borrowings.
