Bathurst Resources (ASX:BRL), along with its 65%-owned JV company BT
Mining, said the Buller Plateaux and Rotowaro Mine continuation projects have been included in the New Zealand government's Fast-Track Approvals Bill, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The projects will be listed in Schedule 2 of the bill.
Under the proposed legislation, listed projects can make a full application to the Environmental Protection Authority to be assessed by an expert panel for a final decision, the filing stated. It is expected to result in shorter processing timeframes and streamlined applications.
