BlockBeats 消息，10 月 9 日，据 Decrypt 报道，爱尔兰犯罪资产局 (CAB) 持有 2019 年从毒贩克利夫顿柯林斯 (Clifton Collins) 手中缴获的比特币，但一直无法破译钱包，这批比特币被存放在 12 个钱包中，毒贩声称种子短语在一次闯入中丢失。钱包内比特币价值已从 5600 万美元飙升至 3.78 亿美元。
毒贩柯林斯于 2011 年首次利用其毒品业务利润投资比特币，当时比特币价格在 0.30 美元至 29 美元之间。2011 年结束时其交易价格为 4.72 美元。毒贩柯林斯称在戈尔韦郡一处出租房产的钓鱼竿盒中藏了一份包含比特币钱包种子短语的文件，但该文件在他家被闯入后丢失。
