周三，S&P 500创下新高，但背后还有更多需要投资者注意的因素。
虽然大盘指数突破了新高，但Strategas的技术与宏观研究负责人Chris Verrone指出，只有约16%的股票与之同步，创下了20日高点。根据这一指标，缺乏广泛参与度表明S&P 500可能面临调整风险。
“奇怪的是，在这次看似强劲的涨势中，创下20日高点的股票比例依然偏低，”Verrone在周四给客户的报告中写道。
“主要趋势显然仍然保持良好，”他补充道。“但这是我们需要注意的瑕疵，因为新高名单较为冷清的趋势市场可能容易出现回调。”
尽管如此，周三回到历史高点仍是一个积极的进展，尤其是在本月交易动荡的背景下。新月开局不利，中东冲突升级令交易员紧张不安，但随后强劲的就业报告带来了反弹。
在最新的走势下，S&P 500目前预计2024年将上涨超过21%。
根据Bespoke Investment Group的数据，周三是该基准指数2024年的第44次历史收盘新高。该公司表示，如果2024年的交易年在周三结束，那么这一年将成为自1954年以来S&P 500收盘创历史新高次数第11多的一年。
不过，市场策略师预计未来会出现回调。根据CNBC Pro的订阅专享调查，S&P 500的平均年终目标价表明，该指数将从周三的收盘点位下跌约3%。
