West African Resources Strikes High-Grade Gold Mineralization at M1S in Burkina Faso

West African Resources (ASX:WAF) struck high-grade gold mineralization following its resource definition diamond drilling within the M1 South (M1S) Main Deeps Resource from its Sanbrado operations in Burkina Faso, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Notable results include 36 meters at 11.1 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold and 11 meters at 31.2 g/t gold.

The current campaign below reserves at M1S is scheduled to be completed later this year, the filing stated. It will be incorporated into the company's updated mineral resource estimate and ore Reserves to be released in the first quarter of 2025.
