恒生(00011.HK经济研究部主管兼首席经济师薛俊升表示，近期美国及内地的政策发展可望有助于提振消费开支。美联邦储备局开始减息，而内地则推行新一轮刺激经济措施，两者不仅有助降低市民对于环球经济放缓的忧虑，也有利于改善金融市场的投资气氛，继而可能推动资产价格回升，形成促进消费的正面财富效应。
另一方面，美国减息也可能令港元汇价转弱，吸引旅客来港购物消费。本月稍后时间，行政长官将发表施政报告，可能会就如何支持经济发展提供政策方向。该行对本港经济维持审慎乐观的取态，预期今年经
济增长2.8%，与年初时预测相同。
