Dalian Neusoft University of Information, operated by Neusoft Education Technology (HKG:9616), won bids for the land use rights of two land parcels in the high-tech industrial zone in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, China, for an aggregate 266.5 million yuan, a Monday bourse filing said.
The university is expected to enter into land use rights grant contracts regarding the acquisition of the land parcels with Dalian Natural Resources Bureau on or around Oct. 20.
The university intends to carry out campus expansion projects and construct the Neuedu Healthcare Technology Park on the land parcels.
Shares of the education company closed nearly 6% lower on Monday.
