Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund (TYO:9284) reported a temporary output curtailment across its photovoltaic power plants in September due to mandates from general power transmission and distribution companies, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The total curtailed output reached 12 megawatts, with significant reductions at CS Miyako-machi Saigawa and CS Kasama-shi Dai-san, the filing said.
Despite this, actual power generation was 108.15% of the forecast. The curtailment resulted in a variable rent reduction of 1.5 million yen, bringing the cumulative impact to 1.8 million yen, or 0.04% of the projected rent income for the fiscal period.
