- Greensill's administrators have recovered additional funds of 41 million pounds ($53.5 million) for creditors of the finance firm, which collapsed amid an outcry over its lobbying of government officials.

- British finance minister Rachel Reeves declined to rule out raising the national insurance taxes that businesses pay, saying on Monday that a pre-election commitment not to raise the rate of social security contributions applied to workers.
