格隆汇10月15日｜从塔吉特、梅西百货到包裹递送公司UPS等美国公司都计划在关键的假日季节到来之前招聘数千名季节性工人。其中，塔吉特计划招聘100,000人，与去年一致；梅西百货计划招聘31,500 名全职和兼职员工，去年招聘38,000 名全职和兼职季节性工人；UPS计划招聘125,000人，高于去年的100,000人；亚马逊计划招聘250,000人，与去年一致。

据Challenger, Gray & Christmas公司9月份的预测，由于劳动力市场疲软和消费者支出紧缩，预计零售商在今年购物季增加的季节性工作岗位将少于去年。
