CGN New Energy's (HKG:1811) total power generation increased 30.9% to 1,593.9 gigawatt-hours in September from 1,217.2 gigawatt-hours in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
Power output from its wind projects soared 50.2% to 869.2 gigawatt-hours from 578.7 gigawatt-hours a year ago, while power from solar projects surged 25.6% to 182.1 gigawatt-hours from 145.0 gigawatt-hours last year.
From its Korea projects, power generation increased by 10.4% to 488.8 gigawatt-hours for September from 442.8 gigawatt-hours recorded for September last year.
For the nine months ended September, power generation increased by 1.4% to 14,652.8 gigawatt-hours from 14.454.2 gigawatt-hours a year earlier.
The power generation company's shares closed nearly 4% lower on Tuesday.
