Leonardo DRS (DRS) said Tuesday that military vehicle manufacturer General Dynamics Land Systems has awarded it a contract to deliver additional mission equipment packages, or MEP, for the new SGT Stout M-SHORAD Stryker.
The company said it will handle the assembly, integration, and testing of MEP systems under this contract, which is worth over $77 million.
Leonardo DRS said the MEP integration into the US Army's SGT Stout Stryker vehicle equipped with the maneuver short-range air defense system will enable soldiers to detect, identify, track, and defeat Group 3 unmanned aerial systems, rotary wing, and fixed-wing threats.
