美国基金Artisan Partners敦促日本零售巨头Seven & i控股公司的董事会允许加拿大的Alimentation Couche-Tard(ACT)进行尽职调查,并就收购价格进行谈判。
Artisan投资组合经理David Samra和Benjamin Herrick在一封日期为10月15日的信中表示,Seven & i上周宣布的重组计划“力度太小,也太迟了”。
他们在信中表示:“ACT目前提供的价格显然优于在这么晚的日期实施重组计划可能实现的投机价值。”
ACT在8月份宣布了对Seven & i的初步出价,消息人士上周表示,该公司已将报价提高了22%,达到470亿美元左右。如果交易顺利进行,这将是有史以来规模最大的外国企业收购日本公司的交易。
