A consortium led by M-Grass Ecology and Environment Group (SHE:300355) signed a 206.9 million yuan contract for the China Datang Yellow River "Jizi Bend" Kubuqi Desert ecological governance demonstration project in Inner Mongolia, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Wednesday.
The consortium includes the Forestry and Grassland Survey and Planning Institute of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, Ordos Agricultural Investment Ecological Construction, and Datang International Power Generation (HKG:0991, SHA:601991).
The project will consist of overall survey and design, construction of facilities and equipment for ecological government, and a five-year maintenance of the area after the construction, the Chinese ecological restoration and seed technology company said.
Construction is expected to be completed until June 2025 and maintenance will be until June 2030.
M-Grass' shares jumped more than 6% in recent trade.
