Altech Batteries (ASX:ATC) reported a 55% surge in lithium battery anode energy capacity using its Silumina Anodes battery material technology, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
This is an increase from the previous 30% energy capacity growth, the filing said.
The company built a pilot plant near its proposed project site to facilitate the qualification process for its Silumina Anodes product, according to the filing.
Shares rose more than 2% in morning trade on Thursday.
