Oct 19 (Reuters) - The U.S. National Hurricane Center on Saturday said there is a 90% chance of cyclone formation in 48 hours near the southeastern Bahamas.
The low-pressure system located less than 100 miles (161 km) east of the Turks and Caicos Islands has developed a well-defined center and continues to produce a concentrated area of showers and thunderstorms, the Miami-based forecaster said.
