Technology company Nextdc (ASX:NXT) agreed to acquire a data center site in Sydney, New South Wales, for about AU$353 million, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
The site, called S7, is set to house a data center with a 550-megawatt capacity, mission-critical operations centers, administrative offices, and collaboration spaces for customers, the filing said.
The company will not include S7 property holding costs in its fiscal 2025 underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization guidance due to uncertainty over timing and quantity pending purchase completion.
Its 2025 capital expenditure guidance remains unchanged, ranging from AU$1.3 billion to AU$1.5 billion, according to the filing.
