BUZZ-Crypto stocks up as bitcoin prices trend higher

** Shares of cryptocurrency and blockchain-related companies rise as world's most valuable cryptocurrency, bitcoin, hovers at levels seen over two months ago

** Bitcoin rises 1.2% to $62,400 and set to end the week up 8.7% - its biggest weekly jump in over one month

** Some analysts point BTC impacted by increasing chances of Republican Donald Trump winning Nov. 5 U.S. elections, who has positioned himself as a pro-bitcoin candidate

** Odds of Trump winning the race as per PredictIt, an online prediction marketplace, stand at 55 cents, compared with rival Kamala Harris' chances at 47 cents

** Ether prices also rise 1% to $2,623

** Crypto exchange Coinbase Global rises 1.9%, while Blockchain farm operator Bitfarms Ltd up 2.1% premarket

** Crypto miners: Riot Platforms Inc , Mara Holdings

, U.S.-listed shares of Hut 8 , and Bit Digital

up 1.7%-3%

** Software firm and BTC buyer MicroStrategy gains 2%

** ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF adds 1.5%

** BTC has risen 61% YTD compared with a 39.3% increase in the MVIS CryptoCompare Digital Assets 100 Index
