Australian Gold and Copper (ASX:AGC) said assay results from additional holes completed at the Achilles discovery within the South Cobar project in New South Wales indicated further high-grade gold, silver, and base metal mineralization, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
Follow-up exploration is planned to target shallow oxide potential and additional prospects along the Achilles Shear Zone, the filing said.
Meanwhile, a diamond drilling program has been completed at the discovery, with assays expected in November.
