1504 ET - Investor sentiment surrounding W. W. Grainger and Wesco International has reset appropriately after a period of excessive optimism, Baird analysts say in a note. "The combination of lower rates, secular drivers, and easing election uncertainty should drive improved industrial/commercial markets in 2025," they say. The analysts see previous issues-including unfavorable seasonality and back-half-weighted guidance-as resolved. "We like the cyclical setup, leverage to rate cuts/accelerating end markets in 2025+, and company-specific stories and are resuming a more positive group stance, overall," the analysts say.
