消息面上，中国中药公布，国药集团拟私有化的计划告吹，因为其境外直接投资未获批准。私有化的计划先决条件，即境外直接投资批准于10月18日仍未得到满足，而先决条件最后截止日期并未延长。因此，私有化建议于10月18日失效。中国中药股份在联交所的上市地位将不会撤销。今年2月，中国中药曾公告称，国药集团拟以每股4.6港元的价格将中国中药私有化。
