BlockBeats 消息，10 月 22 日，据 Protos 报道，Uniswap Labs 近日宣布推出自有区块链 Unichain，此举引发了 UNI 代币大额持有者对其去中心化承诺的质疑。斯坦福加密货币治理主管 Billy Gao 在社交媒体上发布了 22 条推文，批评 Uniswap 绕过去中心化自治组织（DAO）做出重大决策。Gao 指出，Unichain 的仓促发布“让许多人感到意外”，并使“代表们蒙在鼓里”。其进一步质疑称，“代币持有者真正拥有多少控制权？”
Gao 还提出了 Uniswap 与 Optimism 之间可能存在幕后交易的猜测。作为以太坊生态系统中众多二层网络之一，Optimism 的市值仅占所有以太坊二层解决方案的不到五分之一。为何 Uniswap Labs 选择了 OP 而非其他领先的二层解决方案，例如市值是 Optimism 两倍多的 Arbitrum。
