Regis Resources (ASX:RRL) produced 94,508 ounces of gold at an all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of AU$2,495 per ounce in the first quarter of fiscal 2025, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
This comprised 57,501 ounces at Duketon South and 37,006 ounces at Tropicana.
Gold sold reached 79,569 ounces at an average price of AU$3,717 per ounce. Revenue for the quarter was AU$295.8 million.
The mining company described the September quarter as "turbulent" due to a combination of strong business performance and "very frustrating development" at its McPhillamys project. The New South Wales-based project has been declared "no longer viable in its permitted form" due to a government decision.
For fiscal 2025, the company reaffirmed its overall production guidance of 350,000 to 380,000 ounces at an AISC of AU$2,440 to AU$2,740, supported by growth capital of AU$120 million to AU$135 million.
