0855 GMT - Unilever posted strong third-quarter group results, with organic sales growth and volume growth beating expectations, Barclays analysts write. This is the fourth consecutive quarter of volume growth, and the first time all five business divisions posted positive volume, they say. Unilever's performance was particularly strong in developed markets and the ice cream business. Performance in North America was also very good. Europe was a surprising bright spot in the third quarter, even though this region is usually weak compared with other regions for Unilever. "Overall this is a strong result," they say. "We view this as the early innings of a multi-year turnaround story." Shares rise 4% to 4,837 pence. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
