Audinate Group (ASX:AD8) abandoned its gross profit projection for the fiscal year 2025 on the back of several challenges during the first half, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Unaudited gross profit for the first quarter was $7.2 million, reflecting various difficulties such as shorter order lead times, increased inventory, and softer demand, the filing stated. The technology company expects these headwinds to continue into the second quarter, which is now projected to deliver a gross profit run rate in line with the first quarter.
As a result, Audinate said it is now unlikely to achieve a slightly lower fiscal 2025 US dollar-denominated gross profit as previously expected.
Trading in the second half is anticipated to moderately pick up, per the filing.
