Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund (CSIF) (TYO:9284) completed the restoration of the CS Ena-shi power plant on Oct. 3, following damage from stolen electric cables, according to its filing on the Tokyo bourse Tuesday.

To prevent future incidents, Canadian Solar has enhanced security by tapping a security company for CCTV installation and emergency services, the filing said.

The restoration cost is approximately 40 million yen, but most expenses and income losses are covered by insurance and rental agreements, minimizing financial impact, according to the filing.

Consequently, there will be no changes to the group's financial forecasts for the fiscal period ending December 2024.
