IT之家 10 月 23 日消息，Adobe 宣布其绘图应用 Fresco 即日起全面转为免费应用，试图吸引插画师加入该平台。
Fresco 发布于 2019 年，专为支持触控和手写笔的设备而设计，支持 iPad、iPhone 和 Windows PC 平台，竞品主要包括 Procreate、Clip Studio Paint 和 Krita 等应用。

该应用之前也提供了一个免费版本，但高级功能需要每年 9.99 美元（IT之家备注：当前约 71.2 元人民币）的订阅来解锁，权益包括完整的 Adobe 字体库、更多笔刷（还支持导入自定义笔刷）等。
Procreate 明确承诺不会引入任何生成式 AI 工具，而 Fresco 目前也没有集成任何 Adobe 的生成式 AI 功能，并且与 Procreate 相比仍具有一些优势，例如 PC 应用和云存储支持（而 Procreate 文件只能保存在设备上）。
