欧洲央行首席经济学家Philip Lane表示，欧元区的通胀回落正在取得进展。

　　Lane周三在华盛顿表示，欧洲央行决策者强调“确信通胀回落进程进展顺利，但与此同时，我们预计失业率将保持低位，消费将增长，投资将复苏”。他补充说，薪资增长“相当强劲”。

　　Lane在国际金融协会（IIF）年度会议上发表讲话时说，虽然最近一些数据引发了对增长预测的疑问，但欧元区经济并没有出现“急剧疲软”的迹象。

　　在欧元区通胀率自2021年以来首次跌破2%的目标，且经济指标指向增长弱于预期后，欧洲央行上周进行了年内第三次降息。

　　自那以来，政策制定者暗示可能会进一步降息，但大多闭口不谈降息速度和幅度。尽管如此，投资者和经济学家预测未来几个月将继续降息。

　　“我们不承诺任何特定的利率路径，”Lane说。“对于那些想及时知道我们在所有时间点的最佳预测的人来说，这可能有点令人沮丧。但我认为，最重要的承诺是我们将保持灵活性，并以系统的、经过风险调整的方式对我们眼前的情况作出反应。”
