Stride (LRN) reported a fiscal Q1 diluted earnings of $0.94 per share late Tuesday, up from $0.11 per share a year ago.
Four analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.21.
Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $551.1 million, up from $480.2 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $504.3 million.
The education company said it expects fiscal Q2 revenue of $560 million to $580 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $535.4 million.
Stride expects fiscal year 2025 revenue of $2.23 billion to $2.30 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect nearly $2.17 billion.
Shares of Stride were up more than 19% in after-hours activity.
