Cathay Pacific Airways' (HKG:0293) budget airline HK Express is expanding its fleet and routes to benefit from the enlarged Hong Kong International Airport, Bloomberg reported Monday.
The company named Shizuoka as its 11th destination in Japan, boosting its weekly Japan flights to 300, Bloomberg said.
The airline will launch 10 new routes in 2024, the most in its history and hopes to have 40 airplanes in the fleet by the end of the year, the report said.
Another 22 will be added to the fleet by 2029, the news agency reported.
