据新华社报道，本周二和周三，苹果首席运营官杰夫·威廉姆斯（Jeff Williams）参观了苹果在苏州和长沙的生产基地和自动化设备供应商，其中包括位于苏州的一家组装iPhone 16系列的立讯精密工厂。

　　据威廉姆斯介绍，在过去5年里，苹果公司在中国的智能制造和绿色制造领域投资了多达200亿美元。

　　这位首席运营官说，自从1998年他第一次随苹果公司访问中国以来，情况发生了如此大的变化，这让他感到惊讶，当时的生产还很简单。

　　“今天，当我走过生产线时，我看到了复杂程度和自动化程度。我对所取得的进步印象深刻，”威廉姆斯在接受新华社采访时表示，“世界上一些最先进的自动化正在中国发生。”
