特斯拉竞争对手Lucid集团的CEO彼得·罗林斯在最近的一次采访中表示，他认为自动驾驶汽车不会很快落地。

　　罗林森在接受Semafor采访时表示：“这就像把黄金提炼到99.9999%——前几个9很容易，但最后0.01%就难了。我认为这要到本世纪30年代才会发生。”

　　罗林森还表示，“从机械角度来看”，Lucid拥有世界上最好的汽车，但在自动驾驶功能方面一直存在困难。

　　“我个人负责这项工作，我们现在正在加速推进这项工作，”他说。

　　罗林森说，人们“严重低估了”实现全自动驾驶汽车的最后一步有多难。

　　罗林森曾在特斯拉工作。在他发表上述言论之前，特斯拉刚刚举办了Robotaxi发布会，并展示了其机器人出租车Cybercab。

　　在采访中，罗林森再次称赞Lucid的技术进步比特斯拉更好，同时补充说，特斯拉和马斯克“分心了”，这可能是在暗指他的政治行为。

　　“显然，我们拥有世界上最好的技术。我们现在已经接过了特斯拉的衣钵。我们拥有最好的技术，”罗林森说。
