智通财经APP讯，盟科药业(688373.SH)发布公告，公司自主研发的新型苯并硼唑类抗菌药MRX-5在澳大利亚的Ⅰ期临床试验已于近日完成并达到预期目标。MRX-5是一种新型苯并硼唑类抗生素，拟用于治疗分枝杆菌属，特别是由非结核分枝杆菌(non-tuberculous Mycobacteria，NTM)引起的感染。
MRX-5属于新型抗耐药NTM感染新药，对常见的NTM致病菌具有良好的抗菌活性，且在动物试验和此次人体实验中显示出良好的安全性和药代动力学特性。此外，该药物具有相互作用少、不易耐药、可口服的特点，使其适用于长期服用以治疗慢性感染。
本次临床研究结果表明，MRX-5在健康成人群体中显现出良好的安全性和耐受性。本次临床试验的成功不仅为后续临床开发提供了有力的数据支持，也为MRX-5未来在治疗NTM感染的应用前景增添了信心。
