【LME铜价下跌，因美元走强】金十期货10月24日讯，据外媒报道，周三，伦敦金属交易所(LME)期铜下跌，因为美元走强带来压力。铜价通常被视为衡量全球经济健康状况的指标。2024年迄今伦铜上涨11.4%，延续了2023年铜价上涨2%的走势，因为主要矿山关闭以及生产中断可能导致2024年全球矿铜供应趋紧；而全球能源转型以及人工智能需求不断增长，提振铜需求强劲增长，投机基金大举做多，推动铜价在5月20日创下每吨11104.5美元的峰值。自那之后，铜价已经下跌14.2个百分点，因为受到多头平仓以及中国需求疲软的压力。周三美元汇率升至7月下旬以来的最高水平，给铜价带来压力。美元走强意味着美元计价的铜对持有其他货币的买家更为昂贵，可能削弱需求并压低价格。
