OSI Systems (OSIS) shares were up 9% premarket Thursday after the company reported fiscal Q1 earnings and revenue that beat analysts' expectations and lifted its fiscal-year 2025 guidance.
The electronic systems and components manufacturer reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings of $1.25 per diluted share, up from $0.91 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.08.
Total revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $344.0 million, up from $279.2 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $318.7 million.
For fiscal 2025, the company said it expects adjusted earnings of $9.00 to $9.30 per share on revenue of $1.67 billion to $1.70 billion, compared with a prior outlook for adjusted EPS of $8.80 to $9.15 and revenue of $1.62 billion to $1.65 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect adjusted earnings of $9.00 per share on revenue of $1.63 billion.
