Newborn Town Logs Up to 63% Boost in Nine-Month Revenue

Newborn Town (HKG:9911) recorded a revenue of around 3.24 billion yuan and 3.28 billion for the nine months ended Sept. 30, up 61% to 63% from the year-ago period, a Thursday bourse filing said.

The volume of accumulative downloads for the business rose by 6.5% to about 740 million as of Sept. 30.

For the third quarter of 2024, the social networking business' average monthly active users stood at roughly 29 million, an increase of 1.5% from a year prior.

The internet marketing company attributed the rise in revenue mainly to the growth of its diversified social products and the completion of its acquisition of Chizicheng Strategy Investment among other factors.

Shares of the firm closed nearly 3% lower on Thursday.
