香港机场管理局（机管局）今日（24日）宣布扩大“机场城市”发展蓝图。机管局计划在机场毗邻的土地、港珠澳大桥香港口岸人工岛及机场岛与东涌之间的海湾，发展区内最大型、融合商业活动、流行文化、艺术交易、娱乐休闲的世界领先新地标。

机管局于2019年提出“机场城市”发展蓝图，旨在充分利用机场独特地理位置的优势，把握各项新基建带来的机遇，结合机场核心功能与相关产业，发挥强大协同效应。为打造“机场城市”成为世界领先新地标，机管局将扩大发展“机场城市”规模至较原先规划增加超过一倍，带动高端商业、旅游和休闲活动。

新发展项目包括构建艺术产业生态圈、兴建亚洲国际博览馆第二期、设置游艇港湾及配套设施、开设空运鲜活市集、增加公众活动空间等。各项目预计于2026至2031年落成。
