Metals Acquisition's Copper Production at CSA Mine Down 6% in Q3

Metals Acquisition (ASX:MAC) produced 10,159 tonnes of copper at its CSA mine in the third quarter ended September, down 6% compared with the prior three-month period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Copper sold fell 21% to 10,244 tonnes at a price of $4.18 per pound.

The mining company said its 2024 production is tracking to the mid-point of its annual guidance at 40,500 tonnes of copper.

Meanwhile, Metals Acquisition reported results from its ongoing exploration and resource development at the CSA mine. Results include 12.5 meters at 5.4% copper from QTS North; 23.6 meters at 5.2% copper from QTS Central; and 3.8 meters at 17.1% copper from QTSS U A.
