Kelsian Group's (ASX:KLS) CT Plus Jersey, also known as LibertyBus, renewed a public bus contract with the Jersey government's Department of Infrastructure and Environment following a competitive bid process, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The filing said that the 10-year contract, which has a total value of AU$260 million, will start on April 6, 2025.
The filing added that as part of the deal, LibertyBus will grow its bus fleet with the goal of creating a majority battery-operated fleet by the end of the contract in 2035.
