智通财经APP注意到，锂生产商的股票周二强劲上涨，此前一项新的研究表明，阿肯色州可能含有多达1900万吨的锂储量，如果能够开采，这将满足2030年全球电动汽车电池锂需求的9倍以上。
美国地质调查局周一公布了这一发现，调查了阿肯色州西南部Smackover地层下巨大的潜在锂储量，并估计该地层可能含有500万至1900万吨锂储量。
目前，美国用于汽车电池、手机和其他流行电子产品的锂有25%以上是进口的。
澳大利亚和智利目前是世界上最大的锂生产国，紧随其后的是中国，中国在电动汽车电池用锂加工领域占据主导地位。
最近几个月，美国试图结束对中国锂离子电池的依赖，将电动汽车的关税税率提高到100%，并投资4亿多美元扩大国内电池制造业。
在周二交易中，Piedmont Lithium(PLL.US)涨15.3%、Standard Lithium (SLI.US) 涨11.5%、Lithium Americas (LAC.US)涨10.6%、 Sigma Lithium (SGML.US)涨8.8%、 Atlas Lithium (ATLX.US)涨7.4%、Lithium Americas(LAAC.US)涨5.8%。
