Triller Group named Kevin McGurn as CEO of the newly merged company.
McGurn starts next month, the company said Monday. He joins from T-Mobile, where he served as head of sales, marketing and distribution. McGurn previously served in executive roles at Vevo, Fullscreen and Hulu.
Triller Group was formed last week following the merger of Triller, a Los Angeles-based social media company, and AGBA, a Hong Kong investment company. The company began trading on the Nasdaq on Oct. 16.
The company also said it appointed former Triller CEO Bobby Sarnevesht and 1-800-Flowers.com founder James McCann to the board. Triller Group said it plans to announce more changes to its leadership team in the coming weeks.
