IT之家 10 月 21 日消息，霍尼韦尔（Honeywell）今日宣布与谷歌云（Google Cloud）进行合作，将生成式人工智能 Gemini 引入工业领域。
霍尼韦尔是一家多元化高科技和制造企业，其业务涉及：航空产品和服务、楼宇、家庭和工业控制技术、汽车产品、涡轮增压器以及特殊材料等。
霍尼韦尔首席执行官表示，人工智能可以帮助该公司解决劳动力短缺问题。
谷歌表示，霍尼韦尔正在探索如何使用 Gemini Nano 在网络边缘（the edge of the network，直接在扫描仪、传感器和控制器等设备上）提供 AI 服务，以便它们即使在未连接到互联网时也可以自主运行。
Gemini 的多模态功能支持理解文本、代码、图像、视频和音频，使霍尼韦尔设备能够处理各种数据类型，涵盖从扫描到基于语音的引导式工作流程。
IT之家获悉，使用谷歌云 AI 构建的首批解决方案将于 2025 年提供给霍尼韦尔的客户。
