Amerisafe to Pay Special Dividend of $3 Per Share

Amerisafe said its board has declared a special dividend of $3 per share of the company's stock.

The insurance provider said the special dividend, along with its regular quarterly dividend of 37 cents per share, will be paid on Dec. 31 to shareholders of record on Dec. 6.

In October of last year, the company declared a special dividend of $2.50 per share.

Over the past twelve years, Amerisafe has declared $47.37 per share in dividends, comprising $11.12 in regular dividends and $36.25 in special dividends per share, it said.
