智通财经APP获悉，日本餐饮集团和民正在收购三明治连锁店赛百味的日本运营商，以寻求拓展其居酒屋式餐厅业务，并与快餐竞争对手麦当劳(MCD.US)日本公司展开竞争。
和民在周五提交的监管文件中表示，该公司与赛百味国际有限公司签署了一份为期10年的特许经营合同。该公司没有透露收购价格，但表示将利用银行贷款为这笔交易提供资金。
据悉，和民总部位于东京，在日本经营着包括TGI Fridays在内的一系列热门特许经营店。
消息公布后，和民股价跳涨5.1%，创下逾两个半月来最大盘中涨幅，收盘上涨3.9%。
赛百味特许经营店在日本市场一直举步维艰，仅有178家分店，而麦当劳则拥有近3000家分店。
和民发言人在新闻发布会上援引创始人兼首席执行官渡边美树的话称，和民计划在未来20年内将赛百味门店的数量扩大到类似规模。该公司还希望结合两家公司的优势，包括使用和民农场种植的有机蔬菜开发赛百味菜单。
